This is a wonderful project! It comes with excellent instructions and is challenging enough to make it fun. Take your time, sand the rough edges and this train will runs smoothly once finished. Great for the entire family, helps to teach children how to follow directions and how they can use their hands to build something they will be proud of once completed. I recommend it.

I bought this for my father to pass the time. He love trains . Some pieces were almost too small so bought a magnifying glass to help him see the pieces. He thank me for such an amazing gifts and hope to be able to build more of these wooden model.

This is perfect for a challenge driven person. I spend nearly 10 hours assembling this and surprisingly the train works. The instruction make use of pictures to show the steps to assemble the train. I would recommend to sand and wax the pieces as the train would move more smoothly!

The box was packaged nicely and well protected. The build comes with all the necessary tools to complete assembling the train. The wooden pieces may be a little hard to put in place but instructions are easy to follow so that really makes up for it. I hope the train works after assembling it !

Our family likes to spend time together but sometimes it's hard to keep kids interested and engaged - all the games are played, crafts made, movies watched....I am always struggling to find new activity for my family to do together. This puzzle is perfect. It is not a simple task to put together, which is a plus. There are parts that my youngest could do(7 yo) and parts that were more fit for my oldest(14) and adults. It took us a while to finish but that's a plus because kids were more interested in finishing the model then playing video games....

Loved building this! I’m disabled after being a Toolmaker for 40+ years. It was very interesting, challenging, and enjoyable experience. Trying to decide which one to build next! Took about a week, roughly an hour a day, but I took the time to sand everything smooth and flatten where burrs connected to board. Loved it!

I've just finish building it .. it doesn't take long if you're focused and distraction free , and i am so happy with the end result, and proud of myself for sticking it to the end. It seriously looks so good, the level of detail that goes into the steam train is really mesmerising.
