As far as this model goes, it is very cool. Not sure why people say it is very complicated. Not more complicated than other kits I built. Most of the parts are quite large, no toothpicks required. Pictures can be a bit confusing at first but are not that bad as some say. Make sure you sand and grease the parts thoroughly. Overall, I enjoyed building it, and now this kit took a nice spot on the wall.
This clock is so much fun to put together, especially with your spouse! The wood is laser cut and the parts push out easily. The wood is thicker than other puzzles we've worked on. The parts "snap" together so you know when they are together correctly.
