I assembled this in an afternoon with my son. It takes 3-4 hours or more. He loves it. I decided to use a Q-tip to apply WD-40 to the bottom of "part E10" (assembled are called parts d, e, f, g, h, i - 6 of them) where they slide on top of the wheels (D15) to slide more easily. It worked! It's a very creative puzzle and my son loves it.

My husband purchased this for me as a gift. I’m in the middle of assembling it. Before I began assembly, I painted it in fluorescent colors. Acrylic markers work well without adding unnecessary layers. Addicted!!

I recently put together the Waterwheel coaster. The instructions are great and the wood cuts are first rate. The packaging is first rate and I can see there's a lot of care in the production of this product. I would give this 5 stars but there are two minor issues. I think the wheel should only have 2 or 3 slots for marbles. 4 Marbles overloads the waiting area for the steps and two marbles will get on one step at the same time. There's also a spot, that no matter what I do, a marble will stop on the track.
I am going to get another one because it was fun to build and watch run, despite the two issues.

I had an absolute blast putting this together and I fully intend to buy something else from this company. It took me 5-6 hour or so to complete. There were extra pieces when I was done, but as far as I can tell that was to be expected based on parts that might break that you might need to replace later as it all works and fit together quite snuggly.

I got this for as a gift for a friend of mine who loves doing these types of things. He had a great time assembling it and said it was very well-made. I may have to get one of these for myself. And the good thing is it actually works! I would recommend this to anyone who loves putting things together.

Great product and great customer service.
This is a great indoor project to work on when it is either too hot or too cold outside to work on other projects.
The finished piece looks great and is fully functional.

My husband is a mechanical engineer, and he is absolutely THRILLED with this mechanism. He and my 5 year old have been putting this together for about 4.5hrs now (they are almost done) and my husband keeps exclaiming things like "This is so well designed!" and "This is so clever!" I get an A+ for gift giving and he has had a blast! The package arrived in perfect condition and the pieces in the inside were well made and packaged. The instructions appear to be clear. My husband says that after my son is done playing with it he is excited to bring it into work to show the other engineers.

Very cool and works great! I've also painted mine. Also just bought a couple more to work on.

I assembled this in an afternoon with my son. It takes 3-4 hours or more. He loves it. It's a very creative puzzle and my son loves it. He said it was hard, but a lot of fun. It was missing 2 pieces he said, but they were a spacer, so he made do. AFterwards, he found them in the box. They were clear so blended in. Other than that, it was great. He absolutely loved building it and now is enjoying playing with it.

This was a great project to do after work when I needed to unwind and wanted an alternative to TV. I've never done anything like this but found the instructions (99% visual/pictoral) to be clear and straightforward. Agree with another reviewer that the ramp pieces didn't seem to snap into place new like the other pieces, but my completed project works great. Overall these was very satisfying to build, and I would highly recommend it. I am a 55+ professional female.

Great product and quality, good instructions. Spend like 6 hours over 4 days at a slow pace ti assemble.

I have always wanted a marble coaster but most of them are poorly designed children's toys or very expensive and large kits. I purchased this one when it was on sale and I am quite happy with it. It is a bit smaller then I expected, but that will allow me to always keep it on display. Assembly was not difficult but you must follow the instructions very closely.
Overall, I found the kit to be fun to assemble and enjoyable and relaxing to use.

This is totally cool. We got this for our college age son, who likes to build all sorts of various things. He loved this and it works very well once built. The way the "stairs" work to lift the balls back to the top is great.

This was so much fun to put together. My 3 years nephews loved playing with it and he was able to figure out how it worked instantly, but it is not the best for kids to assemble themselves. Mostly because the wooden rods that hold most of the wood together requires cutting them with some pressure.

We got this for our 17-year old son. We weren't sure if it would be age appropriate given he is almost an adult. We were pleasantly surprised! He was so engaged in putting this together AND making sure it worked! I would highly recommend this for kids 12+. We will be looking for another one.

A fun and entertaining little project to do while waiting for my recent surgery to heal. Took my time so I didn’t make any errors because it’s easy to do if you’re not careful! Everything moves smoothly and waxing the parts do help too.

Box contains laser cutted wood sheet and other parts required for assembling.Parts are easily separated and, thanks to accurate cutting, assembling is simple.I completed in a few hours. The instructions are very clear and all parts are numbered. Video helps available via QR code.

Excellent quality. Perfect laser cutting of the parts. The material is of excellent quality. The assembly of the individual items is seamless. The marble run works and suitable for young teenagers who wants to take up the challenge. Highly recommended!

I have spend hours building the roller coaster and just a tip of reminder- follow every instructions such as if you are ask to lubricate it/wax it,it is best if you follow it.This is to prevent issues from occurring after you complete the build. If you enjoy building as I do, then this is for you. I would definitely recommend this for anyone who enjoys a little challenge, and putting 3D puzzles together.

I bought this for my father. He likes puzzles and everything wood. He's pretty excited to try out something unusual. I like this as it will keep him busy and think he loves to show off his achievement. Very intricate and cool looking marble roller coaster.

The whole family enjoyed watching the assembly process and playing with it afterward. This will be going on our coffee table for visitors to enjoy. I told him I would get him another if he brought home an exceptional report card - I have never seen him work so hard!

This was my third kit and a fun build. Like most of their kits just take your time and really look at what your doing, some parts have to be put together in the right orientation to work properly. Just take your time and really look at the parts and the directions, some of the parts need to be sanded some need a little wax, double check everything before it's too late and you have to try getting the pieces apart without breaking them. I found the only tool I needed to help make these kits more fun to build was a small pair of flat sided nippers.Hoped this helped!

My brother and I built this in about 6 hours. After a few tweaks it runs great. All the pieces are very smooth. Love having it on my computer desk.

I really like the fact that you don't need to glue all the pieces together. With the pieces being laser cut, they fit together very snugly. The directions are very good so you don't have to be a mechanical engineer to put it together.
Daniel G.
This was a great project! All the pieces were there and they fit well together, even the very tiny ones.

This was a great way to spend a few hours with my sons. This gave me the opportunity to explain gravity, gears, designs, machines, engines and many other concepts.
They liked it because it was something we were building together.
I had to build this in shifts. It can get tedious and let’s manage expectations, it isn’t a precision instrument. It’s also pretty inexpensive for what you get.
